Exflagellation of microgametocytes - Plasmodium yoelii nigeriensis

Female C57BL/6J mouse was infected with the rodent malaria parasite, Plasmodium yoelii nigeriensis. At 7 days post-infection, many exflagellation events were observed and captured using a Gosky Digiscoping Adaptor and my Google Pixel phone. The microscope was a Nikon Eclipse E200, 40X magnification, Ph2 contrast, and zoomed in with the phone.
