Shalom!!! 😃 I am SO glad that I have discovered this channel!!! It brings back SO many memories!! I was there in 1991 with a Calvary Chapel group and the experience was overwhelming!! The Bible really DOES come alive when you are there!! I have to find my pictures from that trip!! We had much more freedom then. We walked the Temple mount for hours!! One thing that amazed me was the size of the doors... HUGE green doors, 20-25 ft tall, if I remember correctly!! At that time, we could enter the Dome of the rock... but you had to take your shoes off first. I saw the Dome of the Spirits also, which was quickly shown in your video. Due to Calvary's strong relations with the State of Israel, we were fortunate enough to walk the entire excavation along the western wall, all the way to the corner, where the foundations to the Roman guard quarters stood. We saw the area where a tunnel leading into the Temple Mount was sealed up, as well as HUUUGE cisterns and a massive stone that bridged a small ravine... said to be the largest single stone EVER quarried and set in place by mankind!! 😮 One other thing... it was amazing to see how these massive stones fit together SO perfectly!! Barely ANY space between them at all!! 😮 Another thing that comes to mind is that while exploring around the outside of the wall facing the City of David, those same thorn bushes still grow which made up Jesus's crown of thorns. The thorns are quite long, longer than any thorns that I had ever seen, and so sharp that just resting your finger on one would puncture the skin. Ask me how I know! I just couldn't imagine the intense pain that crown would've caused. This is something that you simply can't realize reading words on a page until you've experienced these things for yourself. 😔 As a side note, I was Baptized in the Jordan River that trip, not long after Chuck Smith Baptized the King of Tonga. SO many fantastic memories!! 😃
