Hello, I have a question about business a level as I’m really stressed.
So I did my business aqa a level paper 2, there was a question about the elasticity of demand, one product was elastic and second inelastic, it asked how to increase the profit by changing the price of these two products (9 marks). I gave a definition of PED, however, I accidentally mixed the two products and said PED of 1, is an inelastic product, therefore they should increase prices as the quantity demanded will not change much. (however it should be a product of PED 0) Then I talked about the second product with PED of 0 something and said it's elastic therefore they should decrease the prices as the demand will increase. So i gave a good explanation why they should charge higher/ less prices but i mixed the two products. Does anyone know if I will be still rewarded any marks for saying a good explanation why they should decrease/increase the prices of the product, but the products were wrong?
