Zechariah seems to speak and prophesy heavily on the salvation of national Israel and individual Jews as well. This will occur on "that day" meaning at the second coming of Christ right as the Antichrist takes Jerusalem. Its a fascinating book.

In Jesus time there was no newTestament just the old Testament. The prophets called for repentance, a theme through out the Bible. Jesus said to look to the old Testament for it spoke of him. We cannot throw it out because we have the new Testament but use it to learn the foundations of our faith.

was Adam and Eve created on the same day. the Bible says when Adam named all of the animals he realized that there was none like him so God took a rib out of him perform the first surgery and made Eve and she became bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh was this done on the sixth day or some other day.
