I have one with the original stylus in basically brand new condition. Sounds great and the hyperelliptical stylus helps reduce surface noise.

the M97 he era IV ... it's the minor sister of the shure v15 iv ... same sound of the v15 iv, but a little less accurate, very flat response, best sound with a tracking force of 1, 25 grams +0.5 dynamic stabilizer...I'v got both of them, but sometimes I prefer the M97 with blues and rock music... on the other hand, the shure v15iv is my favourite with classical music, chamber music and great orchestra music, because it has more control and more accuracy of the sound than the m97 ...if you use both of them, anyway, you can play music 24 hours a day without being tired, and this is a sign of a very low distortion and clean sound... these are my definitive cartridges, after using 681EEE, DL160, DL103, XSV3000, OM30, sumiko blue point...

Sounds very translucid and hard to beat, even on a record I've never heard before or own myself. I'd imagine it's thanks to that great HE stylus. Do you happen to know what was the more economic, equivalent model to the V15 Type V, if it had one?
