I have it on my 2011 Vic Vision, 6000 miles and it is shot. 90% 2 up. Never lost air pressure, rode nice, good wet weather. For the price. good.

I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment of the shinko tire I run a set myself on my Voyager which is a 900 lb motorcycle I have yet to find a single complaint it grabs the road like it was on rails totally satisfied and pleased with the tire would recommend it to anyone cheap price does not mean cheap quality in this case give them a try see for yourself I believe you will be thoroughly surprised and how good a cheap tire can be especially this one great job shinko keep up the good work

I'm on board with this review! The milage isn't the best, but it is a softer rubber, so it's to be expected. I ride a full dressed Honda vtx 1300 and I'm never afraid to move my bike, they grip! I remember about a year or two ago when I first bought a set. I was really happy when the guys at the shop told me I was getting a front and rear tire mounted and everything for like $260-275ish. I was expecting to pay around $525 for both. Never had a problem and very satisfied!

I purchased a Honda Sabre 7 years ago and sold it last year period after about six months it needed new tires and I purchased some Shinko 777 off of eBay. Not only did they look great but they also got me through 12, 000 miles and still had about 80% tread. I have no complaints about them. And on that particular bike I rode pretty hard

I installed these on my 2002 Harley softail Deuce back in late 2016 and can say these are amazing tires. The factory Dunlop’s were garbage compared to these and these were half the price. I have put roughly 2000 miles on these and live in CT and ride for 7-8 months out of the year only stopping when snow finally comes and waiting til after the roads are cleaned before starting riding season. My softail Deuce has decent performance upgrades and is dyno tuned and the original Dunlop’s the rear tire always broke loose on any aggressive acceleration from a stand still, these shinko 777 HD’s really connect and I have to really try for this tire to break loose. I have been caught in the rain a few times and these tires have no issues what so ever also ride in below 40 degree temps and never have an issue. Shinko being basically Yokohama since they purchased all of their molds and tooling and equipment when Yokohama got out of the motorcycle market in 1999 means this is not some cheap Chinese tire, I can honestly say these are my favorites tires as I have ridden many different motorcycles with Dunlop’s, metzlers, Michelin, and Avon. You cannot beat the price and performance these tires give, they also have decent life as I expect to get atleast 8000 miles from these. They are not a super sticky tire like Michelin pilots but they aren’t a very hard compound either, they’re the perfect mix of comfort, performance, and durability in my opinion. Before purchasing I read many reviews and rarely saw anything negative about these tires so I am very happy I went with them because these are the best bang for the buck motorcycle tire I have ever bought and I have had multiple bikes and used multiple brands Avon, Michelin, Metzller, and Dunlop’s. If you want a great tire for fairly inexpensive price you will not be disappointed.

I put Shinko 003 on my R1150RT. I was really impressed. I have had a number of different tires on the bike but these are by far the best. First corner really woke me up!!! I also LOVE the price...

Good review man, an yeah I have to agree. You dont get the mileage you would with a dunlop, but they hook! Love this tire.

Yup, I 100% agree. The Shinko 777 tires are great. I ride a Suzuki Boulevard C50T and put the Shinko 777 on both front & rear and I wish I had done it sooner. Changing tires eliminated a high speed shimmy and gave me much better road handling all around. Great tires, better handling and lower price - how can you go wrong?

Would you still suggest 777 eight years later? It seems they made some changes now. I don't see the HD model; instead, it's listed as "reinforced" on cycle gear.

They are cheap and great cost effective tires. I paid $100 for a rear and they are grippy and last for 10k or more miles. I have used more expensive tires like metzeler and dunlops which are like bricks, i feel comfortable cornering with the shinko.

I put the shinko 777 size 100 90 19 on front of my 2000 honda vlx600 and was very surprised at how long it is lasting!! i put it on at 23200 and now I have 27200 it came with 6/32s tread new and now has exactly 5/32s tread! 4000 miles and no real wear!! next time ime trying both front and rear.. it feels good on the road also! there is a lot of talk about how fast shinkos wear and I know its true but not these! buy the shinko 777 tires that tire cost me 54 bucks delivered free from ebay. good deal!!!

I bought custom wheels (21F/18R) on my ultra.. and Shinko was the tires they came with... they have great grip and very sticky tires. My 88TC will not do a burnout for nothing lol! But unfortunately due to how soft the rear is it went bald with around 4, 000 miles within just a few short months and the front is starting to cup with around 7, 000 miles now. Sucks I'm screwed as they are the only tire manufacturer that has a white wall 140/70/18 I noticed. So I'm probably going back to a 16 rear as I ride to hard for this brand of tire

I have a set of Shinko's on my 2005 K1200Lt The front is called Shinko Advance I believe. I just back from a 2900 mile round trip ride from SANTA FE nm to Shasta Lake CA. Though the So. Nevada heatwave. It was an excuse to get a Russell seat They seemed to work well, the rear looks about like that one
