The only thing “wrong” with pokken is the roster size. There’s so many Pokémon that I wish were there. Dragonite should’ve never been only an assist.

Besides the opening cutscenes etc, the gameplay animations themselves were also pristine. This game deserves a sequel so bad!

Pokken is likely the only time we will ever hear Japanese Pokemon voices state side as not even the TV series has given us the privilege to hear them yet except a set few over the many years...

Considering Bamco develops and publishes Metal Gear Solid: Wingz Edition (Ace Combat) and the Digimon games, I’m not surprised at all their works have incredible quality. They definitely could push one hell of a mainline game if teamed with GF

Pokken Tournament feels like how pokemon battles actually should feel, the constant use of moves and moving around the battlefield in sync with the trainer's callouts rather than turn based stuff, pokken is beautiful and i really wish it wasnt so underrated.

Clearly a lot of time and money is what they're giving them a diet of. Not to mention the must have hired a staff that's much bigger than all of game freak itself because that's gorgeous

Fun fact here, this game was super hyped but when it was released it didn't sell enough copies. Even when they offered $10k prize pool tournaments with no entry fees in 2016 turnout was abysmal, always below 50 competitors, with one instance 6 juniors fought over $5k.
