An in-depth tour of Ariel McGlothin's off-grid tiny house lifestyle in the mountains of western Wyoming. CAUTION: Your fantasy bubble may be burst! This is a REAL-world view of what it takes to run a sustainable, off-grid homestead.

Ariel's converted her Astro Van into a delightfully simple and functional adventure mobile. This is her second (tinier) home/camper van, perfect for her wildlife photography adventures across the mountains of Wyoming. It also serves as an essential lifestyle tool for Ariel's off-grid tiny house on wheels nestled in the woods, outside the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

Nice to see a tiny house that actually has stuff in it! She’s fully living and living fully without sacrificing any aspect of her life.

She explained this tour clearly, understandably, and directly. I am really impressed by the amount of room AND storage space in this home. Certainly doesn’t look so tiny on the inside. Organization and practicality really make the difference.

One of the best and most thorough tiny house tours I've seen!  Ariel really knows and understands her living conditions, it's limitations, and it's advantages.  Love the boots she had on too!

First time when someone explains in detail things like how the propane bottles are connected, etc. Very useful. And a great house, really.

This is so cool! I am so interested in what your research and planning process was to get where you are now. I am 57 years old. And I just have tremendous respect for your ingenuity and independence. I have loved my Wyoming experiences, including being face to face with elk and moose. Pretty incredible to live up close and personal with those beautiful and big animals! I am really in awe of what you are doing.

In some tiny house presentation i usually skip most of the “talking” hahaha but this one i manage to watch and listen from start to finish. I was not interested what she does on the outside of the house but i did watch it. It’s perhaps because she is very articulate and smart speaker. I love it. I wish i had a teacher like her hahaha I actually cannot concentrate in a classroom, i got easily destructed every time a teacher speak haha 🤣

This is a GREAT in-depth video showing all sorts of details of tiny house living! Soon as I saw Ariel's axe chopping wood at the beginning, I was hooked! I split my own wood here in suburbia (Ohio) and heat most of my little brick cape cod with it. However, this quaint, functional tiny house is amazing, and gives me lots of inspiration for future downsizing. Thank you!

I’ve seen scores of tiny house videos ranging from mini mansions down to what amounts to a hunting shack. Your tiny house doesn’t fall into anything I’ve seen. It is truly a home that is well planned, obviously well built, and well provisioned. You’ve made the perfect tiny “HOME” video....because it appears you actually have the perfect tiny home. You didn’t say exactly where you were located but it looks like you are near the Grands.... beautiful country regardless of where it is. I hope you own the property and can continue your tiny home lifestyle for as long as it suits you. I would have to say if anyone were to change their lifestyle that included living in a tiny house, your video would would be a valuable guide. Well Done!

Definitely one of the better tiny houses I've seen, well thought out and spacious design with all the modern conveniences in all the right places, and plenty of storage. Must be great to live in.

Your home is exceptional! You are exceptional! As a native of Wyoming including a winter in Gillette, in a 28 foot trailer built in Casper Wyoming, you are something else. Every detail so carefully thought through makes me proud of an of bringing raised in such a special place. Still an RV’er, your well grounded solutions are simply Wyoming brilliant. Thank you for the smile I just can’t get off my face 🤗

I was wondering how a tour of a tiny home could take half an hour. After viewing this episode, I’m astounded at how much great information was packed in! With very concise, informative and, essentially, nonstop narrative it wasn’t redundant and was really fascinating. Thank you for sharing your home and a little bit of your life with us!
