yeah hold up.  just to clarify, he means the ring gasket between the headers and section 1, goes for like $11.  There are actually 4 parts to this exhaust, (1) headers, (2) section 1, (3) section 2, (4) muffler.  The gasket between section 1 and section 2 is generally not the part that ends up rattling, as it is flat, and doesn't really need to be ever disassembled as section 1 and section 2 are usually dropped together as whole after the muffler is removed.

hey how much torque did you use on the bolts for the section 1 to section 2? also did you need to loosen the entire exhaust for realignment, or did you just slip in new flanges? thanks

i have the same problem that annoying chainsaw rattling - have you figured out what it is yet?
