i've watched dozens of pt playthroughs and reactions to the point where i became somewhat numb to being scared by lisa. but this one was cleverly put together so that i had to stop and catch my breath because it was scary with the brightness turned up, and especially the bathroom one. holy shit.

The scariest part was when they cancelled the game.

I just realized why the balcony scene is so much more unsettling than some others. Most of the time when we see Lisa at that point, she's twitching and moving a lot. But when she's on the balcony, she's completely still... just... watching.

The reason it's so heart breaking this was cancelled is just how well they nailed the fucking immersion and just.. Art of the game. It's so beautiful.

The Bathroom (Rare) one happened to be once, near the end of the game but right around the corner! It was that same animation and she flew into me just like in that scene, I've only experienced it once. Either way, crazy how years later even watching this footage is incredibly uncomfortable. Truly a gem of a game here.

The window, mirror, and balcony encounters are pure nightmare material. I literally quit playing the game after seeing Lisa in the balcony.. I was absolutely terrified lol

1:32 so everyone probably already know this by now, but anyway. In this moment, that isn't a random shadow being cast on the wall and sounds of the ghost playing, in this moment, Lisa is literally standing behind you, following you, making sounds and casting shadows by herself.

To me, what makes this great is the extremely unnatural way she looks and moves around. When she’s in the hallway, the unnatural pose of her standing perfectly still up on her toes, slightly tilted back is really what gets me. The way her upper body jitters increasingly wilder as the lower half remains still really builds tension in a great way too. Major props to the animators.

I dont think I've ever seen a game as horrifying as PT and nothing even happens. Atmospheric horror is the best horror.

3:55 To break somebody's neck you usually have to harshly twist the person's neck to the side and pull up, it's pretty cool how they added that detail in the death scene as your view goes to the side then up, then that lovely crunch sound. It's so sad that this game got cancelled, it would've been a masterpiece.
