Trying these revealed a major imbalance between my right and left side. Left side is crazy weak and wobbly! Should have started doing these long ago. Thanks for the clear explaination.

Hey Charlee, OmG! I'm a fitness instructor and I've been doing them wrong all these years! I was taught the wrong way. Thank You! It just feels more comfortable for the weight to be in the hand of the leg that's standing and of course more balanced. I've got it now. Jeesh! So many people doing it incorrectly with so many instructors showing them wrong. =( Thanks for showing us proper form. =)

Great video!! Just refer to squat university video for single-leg deadlift I find u missed points that were crucial. please this SLDL, SLDL is actually stiff leg deadlift. :/
