you can use fsutil from cmd (a lot faster) - fsutil file createnew filename length (for example 100GB: fsutil file createnew FCKINLARGEFILE ) EDIT: CMD MUST BE RUN AS ADMIN

The C drive empty size remaining didn't change at all -_- . I used to make these for pranking friends and that's now how they work, U make in a USB drive so when it's plugged in the PC doesn't start but at the same time it's harmless. When unplugged everything goes back to normal

I created first zip bomb back in 2000. Its 1024MB file, compressed with normal zip of about 72KB, so it can be decompressed on FTP servers who has limits. I call it 1024.DLL that stuck in Windows memory and are not released, means harder to delete on servers and older systems, however, that is AVI file, with fixed resolution, something like 640x480, all black pixels, and frames are repeating for extended period of time. So no matter what you do, its gonna consume HDD space. You know, size may be different compared to size on disk. It was combination of zip repeating (like uncompress this, lots of time) and video repeating (like repeat this frame, lots of time), without duration of the video. Since each frame are the same, the sample can be extended to any size that windows zip can handle, and it can basically handle anything. If you like, i can send it to you. Its pretty old for modern standards, but its fundamental core.
