Back in the day, Fremont Hub was so safe that a group of children from the nearby neighborhoods played by the fountain to beat the summer heat. The current government failed us.

I called it. Security guard that was not authorized to use lethal force is just a glorified bullet sponge and/or corporate prop to enhance foot traffic.

They hit Fremont because no one would expect a robbery to happen like this in Fremont.

This happened about 5 years ago to my friend living in Fremont...
1 - His bike (a tricycle) was stolen (FOR THE THIRD TIME) from his yard. This time he had marked his bike AND had video cameras installed. And he had a giant chain and padlock around the bike.
2 - After his bike got stolen he went thru the footage and managed to trace the thief all the way to his fence (who had a yard full of bicycles)
3 - He photographed the stolen bike in the yard, went to the Fremont cops with the photo and the video of the bike being stolen
4 - The cops looked at all this and said THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING!!!
5 - My friend then went to the fence and BOUGHT BACK his bike!
_Fremont used to be a law-abiding city. However the Alameda D.A. (Pamela Price) absolutely refuses to prosecute crime. And that attitude has reached the Fremont police. If just becomes a matter of time before Fremont becomes another Oakland._

RIP 🙏I do security for a CVS & we always get sketchy people coming in to steal, some guy came in two weeks ago threatening the manager and scaring customers, I kicked him out but always remember how dangerous this job can be. People make fun of security every chance they get but don’t realize we are here to protect you and your children etc.
I always keep a tool on me incase the situation arises. BE SAFE
