Other Civics resources for the Declaration of Independence:

Thank you teachers for all of your support!!!

Skip the history and get right to the Civics you will be tested on for your unit test/ state exam. No sense in learning things you won't see on your test. This review video covers: Identifying the different sections of the Declaration, the idea of Natural Rights and the Role of the Government, the most important grievances, the formal declaration at the end and information about the main author, Thomas Jefferson (and where he got his inspiration ( Hard core rebel John Locke)).

This video is designed for middle and high school level civics/government classes. I use these to teach, review for tests, or remediate after tests. Also used at the end of the year for EOC or final exam type state assessments. They can be done with guided instruction from the teacher or assigned individually (Works well with home connect or distance learning). Thanks for watching!

Please check out my channel for more civics/government content and be sure to check out my TpT site to get access to the keynote slides presentations and accompanying worksheets as well as my other lessons and materials.

We are not one nation. We are a Union of nations, or in other words, Free and Independent States. It even says State of Great Britain at the last paragraph, emphasising that the word State is a synonym to Country.

"when a government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it." Given the size and reach of the current government, altering seems like a far reach. Or is it? Is it possible, even conceivable, that the people constituting our current government will surrender the power that they have unconstitutionally misappropriated and allow us to return the government to the limits that were intended? If not, what is the only alternative? I only see "alter" or "abolish". There doesn't seem to be another option.

Though they torture people 24/7, and claim this is what our country is built off of? Like remote tapping nonstop.
