Western allies say they've extracted more than 100,000 people from Afghanistan in recent weeks, including citizens, diplomats, the military - and some of their Afghan staff. Almost half of the evacuees transferred through Doha in the Gulf state Qatar. Some are still there, uncertain - as DW Correspondent Rebecca Ritters reports - if they'll stay or be moved on in search of a new home.

If they are let into Europe it will be a big cultural shock for them. Most of them are very happy with laws that are not permitted in Europe.

Look at that beautiful Arab designed and built almost entirely by westerners or those with a western education. You don't get cities like that from those educated in a Madrassa.

🌀 I'm more concerned about the Americans in Louisiana and surrounding areas who are about to lose their homes, cars, livelihoods or family members by way of Hurricane Ida. Will the USA take care of them and rebuild their towns in the months to come? There is going to be catastrophic devastation that will take years to fix. Please put Americans FIRST! 🌀

If all of this is revolving around the opium trade of Afganistán, the ultimate culprits are the users. But the ultimate responsibility for one’s own country is on the people populating it.
Many-many-many people that were prospering or doing relatively well in the EVER-CORRUPT Afghanistan, have fled and continue fleeing to all parts of the world bringing their “skill” of how to succeed in business to the neighborhood near you.
For this reason, all of those all over the world — STOP USING.
