The way the English media have slaughtered the team after that match is disgusting.

I wonder why GS hasn't tried palmer on the left with Bellingham and Foden in CAM in a friendly against someone like Iceland or Bosnia. Rice behind them and then a back 4. Attack down the right side predominantly with either Walker or TAA depending on the opposition. Just attack like mad and I don't even think it would be as defensively deficient as you might assume. If you pin back everyone with a front five of that calibre, everyone will have to play on the counter, and you have Rice, Walker and Stones who are the perfect counter to a transitional team with Rice's composure, Walker's speed and timing and Stones' class for example and It's not like those wingers, Bellingham, Kane and Foden can't help in the defence. Kane and Bellingham actually do a ton of work defensively already. It's probably too late now, but it could have been really good fun to watch. No idea if it would work but I think if we got smashed in a friendly and GS just came out and said "I was just trying something" people would have respected it. A lot more than they respected that woeful performance against Iceland, anyway.

Mbappe will turn into a complete Ninja Turtle if he plays with a mask.

Should Foden start at all cost? Put him on the bench, if Saka isn't performing then you bring him on on the right.

On a separate note, I'm not hearing anymore mocking directed at Ralf Ragnick by so called English experts.

Even with world class players like Kane, Bellingham* and Foden*, it doesn’t feel like enough.

I just feel like Southgate plays 1990s football, his substitution were very bad, wasted two players with fresh legs

They may be deliberately slowing down the trains so that fans dont go off drinking lots after a match.

Belgium need to ditch lukaku. He couldn’t finish his dinner. Shocking that he gets a game.
