26 years old with 96 victories. 7 Grand Tours. 4 wins His worst finish was his first GT when he finished on the podium in 3rd. Transcendent.

Tadej, Mathiew, Mads and Wout… we’re just blessed to witness these great riders. Golden age!!

Generational talent that we are lucky to witness. Whenever he’s in a race it’s always so exciting IMO.

What an absolutely insane top 10. Top 3 are all world champions. Nr. 1 is the best ever.

We are lucky to have them all at the same time.

There are grand tour riders, there are classic riders, and then there is Pogacar.

huge respect for Wout van Aert's performance. He looked the strongest in group 2

Having watched and followed cycling for the last 50yrs, I just cannot understand how one person can beat the best of the best in everything. He can out climb, out sprint, out time trial. Everyone is more trained, analysed, measured in every way and yet this guy smashes them. Yet the sport is cleaner than ever. Soo many questions - Yet he is a really nice genuine guy - which is great.

Once in a generation is the best description of Tadej. I feel for the others as they are absolutely phenomenal athletes that will never achieve enough to be in the same league as Tadej. every sport has a phenom and It’s Tadej pogacar for cycling.

NB: This was the *second* time Mads Pedersen came 2nd in de Ronde. He also did that at his maiden RvV in 2018.

One of the hardest yet best earned wins by anyone ever in the sport. He is the best of his generation and many since before he was born. But to surpass Eddy Merckx's record is just too monolithic and deep to be a likelihood. People forget or don't really know how mind boggling Eddy's wins were. Yet for Tadej to be able to ride like this with the depth of talent there is today is simply astonishing. What a great champion with yet so much more to do.

For the moment Eddy Merckx is still the goat. Will see in couple of years.

How can you be bored? He attacks and it's up to his opponents to take the race to him. Riding as a group for 2nd place is boring

Pogacar is already the goat of cycling 100%

Bill Burr on Lance Armstrong: “Our doped up guy beat your doped up guy. Get over it.” Hopefully that joke isn’t still relevant.

I don't agree with the "it gets boring watching the same person win" argument because he is so attacking and does it with such panache! Everybody enjoyed watching Federer winning again and again because it was beautiful to watch

The level of competition, training, nutrition and technology that is currently in cycling make Pog's victories all the more impressive. Eddie rode in a different era and was an absolute beast. He has deserved GOAT status but if Tadej continues like this, even for a few more seasons, I believe the argument for GOAT is strong.

well he is certainly the best of this era by far

Pogacar the beast and the best. He silenced the TNT commentators.
