Organikon is a byzantine instrumental piece by Ioannes Glykys orchestrated by Christodoulos Halaris and played on reconstructed byzantine instruments.

The slideshow is a brief journey through time, focusing or Byzantine and post-byzantine monuments in the area of the Pindos mountains and especially Meteora and Epirus. Epirus, or Apeiros in the ancient Epirotan idiom, meant Infinite and Unknown. It was the name used by Greeks to denote a continent or the unknown hinterlands beyond the mountains. This is exactly what the word Zagori, the modern word for the hinterlands of Epirus, means also in Slavic.
