Fred Kerley has already become one the most talented track stars ever.
He has made 2 world championship finals in the 400 meters and took 3rd in 2019.
He has a silver medal in the Olympic 100 meters in 2021, and he is now looking like a consistent sub 10 second 100 meter sprinter.
I think he's a dark horse for the 200 gold this year also.
Yea, Kerley is becoming the next superstar in track and field.

I like how Kerley very rarely pulls up in front. If I was a sprinter I’d never pull up to rest for later rounds. The race is 100m, not 90m. I wouldn’t ever want my body or mind to think its time to rest now at 90m.

I love Fred but I don’t like when an athlete shows their hand so early, now other competitors knows what to expect from him and the pressure is on him now to replicate it.
It’s like when Bolt used to go easy in heats, you’d think he’s in good shape, then BOOM, in the finals he shows that he’s in GREAT shape and surprises everyone.
But with that being said, Fred is a great 400m runner, so he has the stamina and endurance to replicate. I guess he ain’t into the mind games 😂
