In this vlog, we are going to explore George Town.
Did you know that George Town is the capital of Penang? It is the second-most populous city in Malaysia. On July 7, 2008, it was announced that the town of Georgetown would be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage.

We started our tour with the most popular thing to do in Penang, exploring the city to find and take our photograph with the street art. OMG, this was so much fun exploring the city to find these interactive murals. Definitely, a must-do!

Our second stop was Chew Jetty Fishing Village. To think that people still live and work here is quite amazing. The entire village is built on stilts and sitting above the ocean. Now, how cool is that?!?!

Our third and last stop was the Upside Down Museum. I've been begging Kenny to visit the museum for nearly two months. We finally visited the museum and not to my surprise he had a good time. We both had a blast and highly recommend you to visit.

► WHO WE ARE?

We are Gladys & Kenny, from Long Island, NY. We've always had a passion for traveling. We finally made our dreams a reality. In January 2018 we decided to downsize and take the necessary steps to pursue our dream to travel full-time for as long as we can. We rented our house, moved into our attached studio apartment, and continued to travel on a part-time basis until we were prepared for full-time travel. On June 30, 2019, we left to travel the world full-time. The first stop was Bali, Indonesia. It wasn't an easy decision to leave our friends and family. However, you only live once and we didn't want to live with any regrets. We want to document our journey, so we recently decided to do so with vlogs on YouTube and Social Media.

So many great things to do. You guys are making it very difficult to pick my favorite place in Malaysia. I am in love with street art. I think it is so cool. I don' like going to museums to view artwork I think it is boring but this is for sure my type of artwork interactive and fun. Again I am adding this to my list of things to do in Malaysia and yes I am going to visit the upside-down house looks like fun.
