Thought I made a genius move Rapana to Gutho when he went down.. 40 min head start and Rapana still topped him 😂😂 Should've paid up for Ponga. Yet to top 800 but hanging in the top 1000 with consistent high 700s. Supercoach on the other hand I don't even want to open to look.

JB, appreciate the pep talk and bit of perspective at the end. I suppose I doing ok NRLF wise as gone from 90 000th, to 70k, to 55k, to 45, 000th last 4 weeks! But I finished top 5k the last 4 to 5 seasons, and never known a season like it. If you'd said I'd be 45, 000th after 5 rounds I'd have laughed at you, let alone be quite happy with my team. Will be a struggle to get top 5k again though, as burnt through trades to keep making ranks, and cash gen just not there.

I’m new to fantasy this year and have made a good start but learnt a valuable lesson to prioritise trading in a gun when someone like Nico this week had a bye which left me May or Reynolds as captain shouts. Lesson learnt!

JB, am a May owner too, and was shocked to hear you talking of possibly selling him. I am usually very impulsive, and love how much considered and calmer you are! You have helped me lift my NRLF game, but being less impulsive, and I'm proud to say I never seriously considered selling him. His floor is 30 (yes I know below his price point), dual is very valuable as can sit at 14 and cover outs for 5 outside backs, is playing in the best team in the comp, has a high ceiling (though only seen it once this year), remarkably not scored a try (surely this changes and with it gets a 50 minimum with his 30's floor), AND his draw (yes after the bye which is annoying and a possible shirt-term reason to sell) is very good coming up, so I would be very surprised if he don't average min 40 between now and R13 (and IMO close to 50) or tbh the rest of the season, and considering he won't play origin, that makes him a hold. I think he becomes a buy in few weeks when price bottoms out as people look to pick up non origin guys.

Condolences on the trades it happens.. really good advice too. My logic to fantasy is always just go with your gut on trades, if you are in 50/50 doubt of a trade then don't do it. End of the day its just all for fun and games so pick players you want to watch.

Knew I should've followed my gut, had Burbo to either Seyfarth or Schiller mainly Schiller but decided against it then both went on to out score Burbo.
