I'd love to know Mr. Williamson's opinion on this, but the last 2 years under Pat Meyer, the OL's run blocking was absolutely atrocious the first month of the season or so. I know Meyer teaches hyper aggressive OL techniques, & I'm wondering if we see the same type of gradual increase in their production in the run game as they settle in/develop some chemistry?

Where is this "modern offense". football we were arguing about before?

2-0 baby. More suffering to inflict on the league WITH A GROUND GAME. Keep the defense rested, and have them play lights out, when they're called.

IE, STEELER FOOTBALL. Cowher beat the best defenses this way, and he beat some of the best offenses too... Including 2004 Brady/McNabb teams. And Vick was often neutralized in his prime.

The Bears run a modern offense and still can't win. Why? Because Andy Reid isn't coach there. Exactly why the Steelers need to stick to their CLASSIC ATTACK. We don't have Andy Reid and his gimmicks.

Cowher and Tomlin had winning records against Andy Reid, WHEN THEY RAN THE BALL. We DON'T need to copy Andy Reid's foolishness.
