12+ years ago my parents did the same thing for me. I'll be honest, I wasn't grateful at the time. I wanted my drugs, I couldn't picture my life without them. But my parents stood by me. They watched me like a hawk so I wouldn't run again. I didn't go anywhere without one of them. Today, I am so grateful they saved me because I would have been dead by now. I look back now and can't believe I wanted that junkie life. My brain on drugs is not the same as my brain now. I have a great life now, beautiful home, loving family, great job, vacations, brand new car, etc. (That I wouldn't have if I stayed on drugs). There is hope. She can get well again. My prayer for you is one day she will look back on her life and thank you for saving it, healthy and happy. ❤

It just takes that one or two officers to go above and beyond their job to want to help out. Thank you officers, for potentially saving this girl life. God bless all of the police officers who truly do care and strive to make a difference out there.

As a parent who has been through this with a bad outcome, this is the worst thing a parent can go through. Your kid is sick and they are not thinking clearly because they can’t. The drug has taken over their mind. They are like zombies and slaves to the drug. I hope it works out for Cait and her family❤️

I did this for my daughter almost 2 yrs.ago..got her off the streets..she had a warrent..got her arrested..but sadly after she came out..she was ok..but was short lived..she went back to philly and hasnt come back since..but i hear from her at times..she is heavy in addiction..can only hope God protects her and delivers her from evil..hope all goes well with Cait..glad she is getn help.

I just lost it listening to this. I put my dad through hell and i apologize everyday for what i put him through. Everytime i talk to my dad i apologize. I cant even imagine a dads love and dedication to go through this. I am sending love and prayers.

As an addict myself, without family makes the disease harder to deal with. A loving hand and guidance is really needed when going through this, I just really hope that at the end of it all, she will know that her father and mom were only trying to help her and not hurt her.

As a mother of a former drug addict that was on the streets of South Florida I feel your pain and the urgency for you to get your daughter help. I was one of those parents who would search for my daughter. I’ve been in dark places I didn’t belong, crack houses, have had guns put in my face etc. all for the desire to get her out of those holes she was in. Finally she got clean on her own. I can not begin to tell you how relieved I am that Cait got some help. I will pray for Cait, and your family !

Cait- My parents never came and got me when I was homeless and addicted for 12 years. I blamed them for my addiction and failures for years. You can do this! You clearly have a beautiful family that loves you and wants you to get help! If you can’t do it for yourself do it for your kids! Sobriety is a tough road, but worth it and a very beautiful thing! We are praying and rooting for you! You can do it!!
