This song saved me from my suicidal phase when I was still pregnant with my 1st born. That time my husbee was cheating on me during the pregnancy. I was having depression and anxiety and high moodswings. There was this 1 night I prayed to Lord na kunin na nya ako kasama baby ko habang tulog kami or nanghihingi ako ng sign sa kanya kasi gusto ko na magsuicide kasama baby ko. But after that night napanaginipan ko tong kantang to na i was listening to it. Then i searched the lyrics of the song grabe iyak ko isa to sa mga kantang nagpapatatag sakin hanggang naiiyak padin ako pag naririnig ko to naaalala ko pangako niLord na masaya ang mabuhay. My husband was clinically diagnosed with Anxiety last 2017, it was tough. And this song helped him a lot. 🙂 There were nights when he can't sleep, magigising ako in the middle of the night and I saw him na naka tutok sa ceiling. But I needed to be strong for him, for our family. We asked for a professional help back then and fortunately they were able to do so. Ngayon okay na xa, pero may times parin na nag a-attack yung anxiety because it will never go away, they are overthinkers, you just have to learn how manage it, calm yourself and do distracting activities para di lumala. Strong family support is a must. If anyone of you here knows someone who's having a hard time, .pls reach out to them. Listen to them, and just be there. You just don't know how it means to them. 🙂

I came here because my best friend asked me to listen to this and start at 2:30 and end it. I'm shooked and shocked that the lyrics was telling me to live on even tho life is cruel. Depression set in this is the only song a played all day over and over until i relaxed myself. When people disappoints you, youre hurt, and overall feels like the world is against you. This song will make you feel better. For me this is God singing for me though most of the people sings it for their gf or bf. For me this song is inspirational. The first time I heard this song, I was around 11 or 12 yrs. old, at 7am doing the daily routine of cleaning the school grounds during elementary school days after flag ceremony, with this song being played on the radio as a national opm hit, as the sun was shining so bright, reminding us of a new day at school to face.

Now, I'm 29, turning 30 and is listening to this song 19 years after here in YouTube, while counting down the days to when I'll be flying to Japan for a new job and a new life.

This song reminds me of the same person that I am, I used to be, and the person I will be.. that no matter where I go and where I'm at in my life, I'll always be reminded of my past and of my victories, to be reminded that if I lose and fall down, there's always hope and a chance to get up and win again.

That no matter what I achieve in life, in my present and in my future, this song reminds me that I am once - and still that child, who used to sweep the school ground while listening to this song, dreaming and hoping about a bright future ahead of her.
