I loved that you explained about the locals “hustling” their services and businesses. I’ve been on 5th ave in Playa del Carmen, that’s pretty aggressive hustling down there! These locals are just trying to promote what they do and as you say once you say no they wish you a good day and move on. They are just trying to make a living amongst a great deal of competition.
