Apple has just released their new Apple Watch Series 5! The main new feature is the always-on display, which people have been asking for for years!

It works by dynamically adjusting the refresh rate of the display from 60hz down to 1hz when not in use, so it'll save a ton of battery life!

The Series 5 also features a bunch of new watch faces, and the new compass app.

Why would I want an always on display? I like that my series 4 turns off when I’m not looking to avoid ppl looking at my watch screen. Keeps it more private.

If people would be willing to upgrade just for the always on option, then Apple wouldn’t have discontinued the series 4... I think Apple answered that question loud and clear.
