Evolution - Take A Step Back (Animal Flow, and Primal Workouts)

Показать описание
"Perhaps it is wise to take a step or two back. Literally." - Ido Portal
Evolution is the gradual process in which something changes into a different, and usually more complex, or better form.
I don't know about better, but complex - definitely. Humans can follow an endless number of movement and locomotion patterns, from something as simple as sliding and crawling to conducting a deeply complex symphony using just our hands. That is physical autonomy or our potential for self domiance.
We know that the more complex the movement we learn, the better our brain gets at learning complex movement sets.
So let's add complex movement patterns to our training and have some fun with it.
I incorporated different animal flow movements from the Lizard Crawl, and the Bear Crawl, to the Sideways Monkey and the classic Human. This is also known as primal movement, or primal movement training floor work.
I saw a video of Ido Portal doing this, and I had to try it out for myself - it looked like a lot of fun.
So if you get the chance to expand on your movement training and go freestyle, chaining exercises together , I can only recommend you do that.
Thanks for tuning in
As always - much love
