Is Google Search Dying and LLM Search Taking Over?

I've been hearing so much about the death of Google Search, that I decided to take a look at some data. Incidentally, the data shows otherwise. While LLM search is certainly gaining popularity and tools like ChatGPT are now being used by the average Joe, it is nowhere it should be to even begin to take on Google search. In fact the data shows Google is growing despite being a mature product.

Google search died in 2023 when they replaced credible websites with opinion websites (Reddit and Quora) and sponsored websites. They replaced authors who are experienced and trained in their respective niches with anything else that would provide them (Google) with money.
Their focus shifted from giving to taking and it will be very interesting to see how history tells this story.
I don't think this is the end of Google, it's just the end of them as a search engine.

Most of the who, what, where, when and how queries are being answered by Google's AI in the serps. That's gonna hit a huge number of websites. Content marketing is not dead but it will certainly decline. The advantage google as is the advertising. People will use Google regardless of AI, they just want an answer, they don't care about content marketers and Google doesn't either. This suits google by removing the crawl overhead when marketers start falling by the wayside and giving on with more dollars going to paid search.

I am switching to paid marketing and video. Ranking articles nahh I will no longer bother with that. I barely use search engines now and I use perplexity for answers
