A stunning executive home in a sought-after neighbourhood of northeast Toronto, welcome to 41 Point Rouge Trail. Exuding great curb appeal, this 2-storey brick and stone home with two car garage is situated on a premium lot backing onto a lush ravine setting.

Through the inviting covered double door entryway is a grand reception hall finished with gleaming ceramic tiles, and open to the second level. Immediately to the left - and also open to above - is a beautiful living room with parquet floors, and a bay window allowing natural light to flood this space and the foyer area. Parquet floors are also found in the adjacent library and home office space, which has a French door entry.

Off the main hallway, and across from the double coat closet, is one of two sets of stairs leading to the lower level. Next to the staircase is an arched entryway accented with decor columns to the formal dining room. This intimate entertaining space has a tray ceiling highlighted with a gorgeous light fixture, and is finished with parquet floors.

The ceramic tiles continue to flow into the incredibly spacious eat-in kitchen. This functional work and family space features pot lighting; a centre island with storage; ceiling fan; ceramic back splashes; stainless steel appliances; abundant cupboard, pantry and counter space; as well as under cabinet lighting.

Off the kitchen is a laundry room with washer, dryer and storage space; direct access to the garage; the second set of stairs to the unspoiled lower level; and a well-appointed powder room. A walk-out from the breakfast area opens onto a raised deck overlooking a beautifully landscaped backyard accessible from a lower level walk-out, and with an unobstructed view of the nearby ravine.

Open to the kitchen area, the adjacent family room also has a spectacular view of the outdoors through an oversized window, and this beautiful gathering space features parquet floors, pot lighting and a ceiling fan, as well as a cozy gas fireplace.

Other fine features of this home include California shutters in the family and living rooms; a water filtration system; central air conditioning; rough-in for a washroom in the lower level; soffit pot lighting; and a stamped concrete front walkway and steps.

The gracefully curved oak staircase leads to an upper level showcasing gleaming hardwood floors, four carpeted bedrooms, and three washrooms. The second bedroom has a cathedral-style ceiling above its large window, and also has its own private access to the main 4-pc washroom. The third bedroom, which is next to the master bedroom, has a walk-in closet and it shares access to a 4-pc Jack-and-Jill ensuite with the fourth bedroom. The loft retreat is open to the living room below, and has potential use as a fifth bedroom.

The incredibly sized master bedroom is a beautiful personal haven filled with abundant bright, natural light. This retreat features a ceiling fan for air circulation; his and her walk-in closets; a cozy gas fireplace; and a luxurious 6-pc ensuite with his and her vanities, corner tub with tile surround, a glass-enclosed shower area, and a water closet.

The lower level’s garden doors open to the large interlock patio and a landscaped yard backing onto a ravine. Beyond the ravine is the flowing waters of the Rouge River, and the beautiful natural surroundings of the GTA’s urban treasure, Rouge Park.

This stunning home is also close to schools and many neighbourhood parks - and is a short drive to Cedarbrae Golf and Country Club, the Toronto Zoo, Scarborough Town Centre, and access to the 401.

The only thing I dislike about these homes is they are so close together.

Was that master bedroom color a joke? Come on! Back in 2001 I had my kitchen a orangish color called pumpkin spice, but it was no where near that florescent orange! Ugly in my opinion!
