Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.

Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer.

Writers: this is more like it. Beyza needs Yonca in her life. It is good that Cihan is finally asking himself why Hancer would marry him like she did. He is even checking on her welfare. I assume that he can read through Hancer's sister-in-law and her greed. After all, he can simply look across the driveway to see Hancer's lights on and know that she is almost always alone. Her brother is a nice man, but he is ill and not assertive. She is on her own. Cihan is, also. For now, they have aloneness, loneliness, and stubbornness/ pride in common. The difference is that Cihan is a tall, imposing, authortative, and wealthy man. Hancer is a small, sensitive, poor, vulnerable, young woman. HE needs her gentleness and stubborn honesty. SHE needs his interference and protection. Love the dynamics of the women that he respects and listens to---Yasemin and Sinem. They speak out to him about Hancer and her needs. Love female characters who are not manipulative of or mean to each other .Instead, they show sisterhood by being appreciative and supportive of/ to each other. Nice balance. Good possibilities!
