The foam and air inside the air mattress are giving you more insulation than you would ever get from the bottom of your sleeping bag, so why have it? I see the specs mention R4 insulation as a material, but what are the overall R values for ground insulation for the normal and deluxe versions?

Hiya, looks to be the perfect bed roll system... what size chest/shoulder have you designed the system for? Just trying to work out if my 52" chest will fit in there with my shoulders! ;)
