The lack of carplay and AA is a sign that Chevy is investing in their in-house software. If they're going for anything like Tesla with OTA updates, they'll eventually have something as good as if not better than the Apple/Google counterparts.

The downside is having to take a huge financial L until vehicles are sold before you reep the benefits and receive adequate feedback on the software.

Honestly, I welcome the idea, trying to make snappy, fast UI that's actually useful and not an extra distraction is difficult, which is why a lot of automakers pretty much gave up or submitted to Apple and Google.

Don’t do it guys!! Don’t do it!!! You will thank you self in the long run if you avoid a pretty much a Chevy anything.. but especially an EV. Do your research first.
