3:30 What is gained by having the storage array take a snapshot and write to the delta instead of vSphere? The delta still can't exist without the source snapshot and must be applied to the source to become permanent. When I last used EqualLogic when you cloned a volume it could take a bit to make the clone because it was actually copying it. When I last used Nimble, the clone was instantaneous *but* you couldn't delete the source volume because the clone was nothing more than a delta of the source.
