This MIDI reminded me of Whitney Houston, so I wanted to give it a proper arrangement. I originally wanted to use some authentic 80s DX7 presets in Dexed, but it turned out it didn't support GM "Volume (Coarse)" messages. For that matter, neither did Xpand!2. I also had to use the XV-5080's dated string samples because none of the articulations in Kontakt 6 or BBC Symphony Orchestra Discover would play back correctly. Honestly, I'm not that good at hearing differences between string libraries for sustain parts, anyway.
