As a ZSS main for 5 years now I have to throw some advice out there for new ZSS mains and those who are interested in her.

A: WiFi is not her strong play... seriously if you lose on WiFi and there was any lag whatsoever your game was made harder due to how crisp her game has to be.

B: Learn and master these techniques in this order: shorthop, fox-trot, SHFF-Nair, Zair, flip kick, down smash, b-reverse paralyzer, up air chains into up b. And the 2 combos you must learn as ZSS are 40% Nair-flip kick spike (they are dead) and back throw into flip kick spike (they are dead around 20-30.)

There’s so much more to this character than what I listed, but what I have listed is definitely a good start and will get you into elite smash and have you kicking ass with ZSS if she’s the one for you! Enjoy everyone!

Short hop falling Nair and Zair are going to be your best attacks in neutral. I recommend going in training and practicing the spacing and true combos on these before learning anything else. Zair is especially important to outrange opponents.

Oh and don't get discouraged playing her on wifi haha

Too little kill power for me....she’s be great in stamina marches lol, but otherwise I’ll stick to Bowser, or even keep the suit on for Samus. Results n stuff tell me the potential is there, she’s just too technical for me, I HATE trying to utilize that flip jump move, I’d rather just chase her down with Bowser’s foward air lol
