Great video recap! I did JFK last year and had staggered starts. Nice to see everyone starting again at same time.

Great video. That course looks amazing. Especially the weaverton cliffs. I don't think I've ever done an ultra that was both pavement and trails. This ultra made my list of ones to try.

Nice job showing the course with the good and the bad. I can't wait to get there next year. Congratulations on another finish and second best. I hope to run enough ultras to prepare me for the elevation but i know I can finish 50 miles but I want it to be there for my first. Thanks for the nice video John..

Hi; new subscriber & YouTuber here; nice to see fellow gray-haired guys out there!🧑🏻‍🦳 I'm 53 and training for JFK. I've fin 20 marathons but, want a new challenge. It's hard to get training time in. I'm a busy hospitalist PA in Washington, DC. I train on the C&O canal and Rock Creek Park. This is great footage; so inspiring! 😃👍👋👨🏾‍⚕️🏞️🏃🏾‍♂️

After I finished watching your Yeti video, here I am watching your JFK 50 video again since you did add the link at the end. I probably will be watching it a few more times to get used to what the course is and what to expect when I get there next month. Keep making these kind of videos John. They are informative and inspirational. Especially for those of us that are working to do these races for the first time.

Nice job John. Nice elevation gain, impressive for an east coast race.

Congratulations! I can’t imagine filming myself during a 50 miler. It’s challenging enough to run, let alone document. Thanks for taking us along. PS - I did the MD AT from PenMar to Harpers Ferry last year and came down Weverton by headlamp in the dark. Yikes I was just ready to be done by that point so I wasn’t thinking about how dangerous it was. Haha

Hey John..········. I have noticed, and I have noticed it on manys faces, that when you run and its both in races and in training, you smile and you smile all the way till you get home. Thats really also my own experience when I was running I just once couldnt smile after a run and that was after my marathon because I just was completely exausted, I could not smile. inga dk. ha ha.
