From Chicago V, this greatest hit was one that brought about a lot of dialogue! Pun intended! :-D Enjoy!

My dear wife Kelly is 60 years old and unfortunately has Lewy Body Dementia and has been bedridden since August and under Hospice care. I fed her lunch today and played this and I could tell she was happy! This was always one of her favorites ! RIP Terry !!

Today is 1/24/2024. Terry Kath died 46 years ago yesterday. It forever changed the direction of the group. They would have two more hits in late 1978-79 and then disappear from the singles charts until 1982. Their sound was not the same again.
This classic is never heard on mainstream radio anymore. Such a disservice to those that have no other means of hearing it or to younger folks interested in Chicago's old sound.

Chicago wasn't a "genre" band. They were their own genre. The people who dissed this amazing band grew up on blues-based rock and couldn't relate to a band that operated outside that narrow scope. Their loss.

I am very proud of the fact that this was my Detroit HS's senior class song, class of 1973. A lot to live up to, frankly. Did we "make it happen"? Did we "change the world"? Did we "save the children"? In some cases, maybe, but not as much as we could have/should have. Meantime, many of my classmates are already gone, but some of us are still at it. Thank you to Robert Lamm and his mates for this unforgettable song.

Chicago's best song, and it's still relevant.

Best song ever. My favorite Chicago song. Brings back memories of when I was a child. Still relevant, and thought provoking.

Terry and Peter's 'Dialogue' between people and instruments, makes this probably the most unique, and most powerful, of Chicago's song list, thus, making it one of the greatest songs, for centuries to come!!

so many years later, and TK just mesmerizes with soulful vocal and guitar work, that is incomparable. With Pete's underrated bass and Danny's masterful feel and incredible creation from this group of players.

Wow, saw them at the Chicago Stadium in the early -mid 1970's. One of the finest, most electric concerts I have seen. Of course being 16 or 17 years old, the pure youth of the times was wild!
