i remember reading that netflix picked up a live action pokemon show a while back but if it wasn't quietly canceled/in development hell then we should hear more about it soon

I was thinking the announcement would be February or March with release in June. So the early adopter fans can get the system. Then they have time to ramp up production for Christmas
