India has the most unique timezone. Because the captial is in the middle of two timezones, India goes with a new timezone of +5:30.

As a South African I can say no, we only have one time zone. Like our country stretches over 2 time zones really awkwardly so technically we should have 2 but we don't. It would be like having the entire US under 1 time zone except for California and just California, that's confusing and annoying to deal with so we said no. We also don't do daylight savings and it's so frustrating how daylight savings messes with different things and it all just feel pointless to us...

France is the only country where you can watch the sun rise on one side, but watch it set on the other side. Territories are weird.
Bonus fact! There’s an area in Arizona where you can go back and forward through time zones 7 times by driving in a straight line! It’s a cultural thing with the Native reservation in the area. CGP grey has a great video on it.

As a South African I can tell you we only have one time zone we use, he is getting confused because technically SA is stretched across two time zones but we one use one
