Out & About in Chiang Mai Thailand. A walk along The Ping River Riverside Restaurant for delicious Thai Food ~ Shrimp & Pork Glass Noodle Salad. Then Back across the River towards The Night Bazzar and in to the Red Lion Pub for a well deserved Pint at a staggering 259 Baht = £6.01 OUCH !

I have a Thai friend who lives in Chiang Mai, and she recommended The Riverside to me, when I was over there a few years ago. It was during Loy Krathong, so it was absolutely packed and I was lucky to get a seat. But I was able enjoy a delicious bowl of Khao Soi and a cold Chang, while watching the lanterns float down the Ping River.

Love seeing you mooching around Thailand over Pattaya. So many beautiful places to visit. Nan isn't bad Geoff, it's more quiet than the most common places and much more authentic Thailand just a bit far from Mai maybe worth planning next time. You've got Rai or Pai more near you. Worth visiting just once one day for you. Great video mate. Enjoy your holidays 👍🙏

All that area where you walked was submerged by muddy flood waters a few months ago...its amazing how they have cleaned up.and restored the business., and there's a few new ones appeared .
Nice walk/video...
Also China town and the extensive fresh food market are near the flower market. .
