I absolutely loved how Kevin Williamson developed the relationship between Stefan and Elena. The relationship between Stefan and Elena, with its complexity and evolution, was truly fascinating. Their growth and mutual learning were captivating to watch. It's clear that Kevin Williamson had a well-defined vision for the series and for Stefan and Elena. He envisioned an epic love story for them, and he succeeded in realizing it. He wanted Stefan to end up with Elena. On the other hand, Plec didn't seem to attach the same importance to their story. She chose to separate them, to create drama. It's disappointing to see that the Stelena relationship was sidelined after Williamson's departure. This relationship was one of the aspects I appreciated the most in the series. It's regrettable to see what it has become. I'm so sad that Stelena couldn't have a happy ending. They deserved so much to be happy together. I can't help but think about what the relationship between Stefan and Elena could have been if Williamson had remained the main showrunner. I'm sure it would have been even more beautiful and poignant.

Not only Elena was a bridge between Damon and Stefan but also the two brothers helped her to feel again alive after she loosed almost everyone starting from her uncle/adopted parents, they became a real family💜💜

NO! I couldn't stop crying in this episode at all! It was the saddest one of all! Now I'm in the middle of season 7 and when Damon burned her body I cried my eyes out and yelled at Damon on the TV even though it wasn't his fault and he was just hallucinating. It was still sad. I'm still hoping and praying that Elena will come back! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
