This bring bittersweet memories. My daughter was 8 months old when she got her first glasses. 12 years later I still cry every time I remember her reaction that day. She was seating on my lap and she started touching my face and smiling. She couldn’t take her eyes and hands off my face. There wasn’t one dry eye in the room that day

Not me sobbing over this in the middle of the night 😭 Not every baby out there is ever blessed with good eyesight. I'm glad that she's able to see clearly now 🥺

Back in the 60s parents often had to be actively encouraged to get their kids' eyes tested. In my small rural town kids like me with glasses were treated like there was something wrong with us. Now they can test a child's vision at this young age! Marvelous. I hope correcting her vision this young saves problems later on.
