CRKT Radic 6040 Assisted Opening Knife 'Walk-Around' - Knives Plus

The CRKT Radic Knife, designed by Pennsylvania knifemaker Ken Steigerwalt, is a simple little EDC that features a 3.322" clip point blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, .126" thick, with an attractive two tone satin and bead blast finish, a weight reducing top swedge and milled fuller, a long notched thumb rest for secure purchase, a single thumb stud and OutBurst Assist for lightning fast one hand opening. The black G10 handle, 4.348" closed, has ergonomic contours for comfortable secure grip, steel liners for strength, a liner lock and a low carry removable steel pocket clip mounted at the pivot end. The Radic Knife has an overall open length of 7.625", and it weighs 4.5 ounces.

Iv owned my radic for 3 years and Iv carried it every single day and it’s held up amazing for a not very expensive knife. It holds it edge very very well for what it is. And the blade design makes it great for everyday use no matter what ur doing.

I feel like they took everything good about a GEC traditional, took the 940s blade, and threw it all together with their spring assist and pocketclip - Not going to lie this looks like a real winner for 2018.

Can't wait to see more reviews on this may have to grab it and make up my own mind though. I wish it were a Scoetch Lighter for its size and a lot more companys should nestle there liners so the knives aren't as thick. But for the price on this and that awesome blade shape it's worth a few knit picks.

Love this knife, and I really love the blade, don't even mind tip down, but I'm not that impressed with that steel on my current CRKT and I think that's going to stop me from getting it. Wish it had a flipper, too.

Everything about this knife is awesome the only thing I don't like if I had to complain would be the tip down only carry that's easy to machine and relocate

How do you open it so easily? I've literally lost so much skin on my thumb trying haha Have to push the front of the blade/lowest point for it to open up one handed. And I've seen a few reviews saying the same thing!

Why does crkt always go tip down? I love some of their designs but hate tip down.

Had this knife sent it back. Hard to open not sharp....
