LEAVE IT
I can feel no sense of measure
No illusions as we take
Refuge in young man's pleasure
Breaking down the dreams we make
Real

One down one to go
Another town and one more show
Downtown they're giving away
But she never came back

No phone can take your place
You know what I mean
We have the same intrigue
As a court of kings

Ah leave it
Ah leave it
Two down there you go
McArthur Park in the driving snow
Uptown they're digging it out
Better lay your claim

Get home you're not alone
You just broke out of the danger zone
Be there to show your face
On another dreamy day

Ah leave it
Ah leave it

Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
Hello hello heaven

Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
Hello hello heaven
Ah leave it

Ah leave it

I can feel no sense of measure
No illusions as we take
Refuge in young man's pleasure
Breaking down the dreams we make
Real

Ah leave it
Ah leave it

Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
Hello hello heaven

Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
Hello hello heaven

One down one to go
Another town and one more show

One down one to go
Another town and one more show
Ah leave it

Ah leave it

Ah leave it
Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad
Hello hello heaven

Goodbye goodbye goodbye bad

Leave it

90125 is the eleventh studio album from the English progressive rock band Yes, released in 1983 on Atco Records. It was the first studio album since their 1981 breakup and the first to feature Trevor Rabin, and also marked the return of vocalist Jon Anderson, who had quit the band prior to their tenth studio album of 1980. It also marked the first time in twelve years that original keyboardist Tony Kaye had appeared with the group.

The album was titled after its Atco Records catalogue number (for example, 7-90125-1 for the LP).

My dad loved Yes but in my foolish teenage ignorance I never had much time for them ... then, one day on the wrong side of 50 pushing 60 I discovered Yes for myself. I now see it. Better late than never.

Yes has to be the most original group ever, They never ever tried to sound like anyone else, They just did their own thing . I love them for that !

This album from start to finish is a work of art. The level of musicianship on it is beyond description.

Every song of this album is a piece of art and belongs in a gallery

Alan White, the drummer for Yes, died today after a short illness. Will probably be listening to 90125 in his memory today.

I'm old enough to remember when MTV actually played music videos (like this one).

I still love this song. I can't help sing it when I tell my dog "leave it". It's always followed by "one down, one to go, another town and one more show... LEAVE IT!" Seriously. I'm an idiot.

Trevor Horn and the boys certainly came up with a huge production number on this one. Here's the thing about 1980s Productions they don't sound dated if they're done extremely well. Talk about finding a second life post prog rock. Amazing stacked vocals are incredible

What's amazing about YES is how they reinvented themselves with this album- with guitarist Trevor Rabin's considerable input, this music is so completely different than their previous
brand with Steve Howe on guitar- yet still just as appealing- in my opinion - not many bands can do that

These special effects were so cool in 1984. 30 years later, still a great tune. LEAVE IT!

Yet another iteration of Yes. This one breaks new ground just as the crew from the Drama album did. Both Yes versions add to the legacy of the iconic Yes of the 70s by finding a unique sounding musical niche and then perfecting it. 90125 is another tour de force from one of the most influential, technically adept and harmonious bands of all time. Amazingly they are still at at in 2022!
