What amazed me was Matthew Lopez's revelation that the actors took a lunch break during this highly emotional scene, When they returned, Lopez said Taylor started the scene by crying, and this caused Nicholas to weep too. Now THAT is great acting!

Taylor is so down on earth and humble about his talent, that he doesn't actually talks about himself but shows it in how well he gets both of the characters. We as fans remember that Matthew said that when they comeback from lunch they just looked to each other and started to cry and worked on playing that scene so well.
