2015 Nissan eNV200 Battery Upgrade

This week we are upgrading our own electric van to make it more usable for long distance travel. Currently, it's covering 1000 miles a week.

Lovely job James, managed to get my Muxsan 01 leaf back driving on the road again. My precharge resistor mod appears to be holding up really well. Hopefully will see you guys some time in 2021.

CAN should ideally be wired with twisted-pair for maximum noise immunity. a twin twisted-pair cable (e.g. farnell 1387731 ) would have been neater than DIYing a cable with some random 2-core cables taped together

The van looked in really good condition underneath. Just recently watched a video on a one year old MG ZS and it did not look as rust free underneath as your Nissan.

Oh BTW, if anyone is considering buying the Nissan E-NV200 I highly recommend it! Great to drive, handles well, quiet and fairly brisk. Although be prepared for lots of annoying beeps and bongs and don't go too fast over speedbumps as the ride is very firm! PS Get the accent rapid model which has the 7kW onboard charger.

Dala has sorted out the software for the cam bridge recently sorting out the cooling of battery while charging and some over errors.also now open source

You could do with an explanation at the beginning of why you had to add the extra wiring and what the canbridge is for. Nice range upgrade. :) One thing to consider is as you’ve changed the spec of the vehicle have you told your insurance company?
