Having to dumb-down is a very soul-corroding experience. When I started teaching high school biology it was a crash course for ME more than them. Like I could use the curriculum as a basic gauge for how much biology information they should already have at their ages, but there was nothing to prepare me for the broader ignorances, like the meaning of REALLY basic English words. So even if/when I had their attention I couldn't necessarily expect them to understand a new concept or vocabulary word, because of the words I used to explain it. The lack of critical thinking or willingness to dig deeper was frustrating too. I'm definitely NOT one of those haters of Millennials or Gen Z'ers, I know my experience with kids in Arkansas was probably not typical, but man I just couldn't do it anymore after 4 years. Then again, I wasn't getting Shep Smith money.

Shep Smith seems like a reasonable show to watch, he's literally giving facts. Only show I'd watch on Fox.

Sounds like you've never watched him before, Dave - Shep's always honest. He regularly criticizes Trump, won't spin for him at all. Wallace and Baer are occasionally critical, sometimes Cavuto, but Shep NEVER lets him off the hook. Ask a Fox viewer - they despise the guy. I'm honestly surprised he's still there.
