Hiking The Jenks Lake Trail, San Bernardino National Forest, CA.
Jenks Lake is popular among fishermen. This is why there is a pay lot for day use users. However, since I am merely walking through, it makes sense to park at the trailhead off the highway and make a hike out of it. It saves money and gives me the exercise I am looking for. Sometimes an easy and scenic hike is exactly what the doctor ordered. There are no complaints from me!
