allowable ampacity (AA) is permitted to be the 90deg when temperature correction factor necessitates application
#2 THHN will have AA to be 130A * (say 0.96) Temp Correction Factor for hotter ambient = 124.8A to be connected to a 75deg terminal >> than by using THW at 115A, even though when no correction factor both THW & THHN have AA of conductor ampacity (CA) of 115A to a 75 deg terminal ;

this is the advantage of using THHN in hot environments which the NEC permits .

Good job, but not true with the number 8 on 50 amp circuit. For terminals rated 60 deg you shouldn’t use number 8 but 75 degree you’re good if the terminals call for 75 degrees. Right in the code tables 310
