I am trying to find a cleaner for my window AC unit. (It has a smell - almost like a urine smell - at times.) Is this the type of cleaner I can use for it? Or do you suggest something different? I can hire someone, but don't want to spend hundreds of dollars if I can do something like this myself.

You need to clean the underside of the evaporator. That is where the dirt is.
